Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Live Mission Operation Capability (LMOC) Test Engineer on the TMAS2 contract, supporting the 96 Cyberspace Test Group (CTG), 45th Test Squadron, Air Operations Command and Control (C2) Systems Test Flight, at Eglin AFB, FL.

Required Qualifications / Skills
Master’s Degree in a technical field. A Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of experience; or 12 years’ experience may be substituted
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance - U.S. Citizenship required
Former rated officer (Pilot or WSO - Preference is flight time in either: F15, F16, F22 or F35), Senior Air Weapons Controller, or Battle Manager (Weapons School Graduate) experience required for consideration.
Former Range Training Officer
Demonstrated project management experience
Modeling and Simulation technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when challenges are developing in the program
Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently, independently and with a team
Proven ability to lead multiple projects successfully and priortize tasks effectively
Desired Qualifications / Skills
Recent rated expertise with constructive or virtual modeling and simulation experience
Experience creating, modifying, verifying and using simulation models of missiles or aircraft
Familiarity with radio and datalink architecture as it relates to live-virtual-constructive training
Development Test and Evaluation, specifically - acquisition program development and detailed knowledge of Air Force C2 test methodologies including AFI 99-103.
Familiar with agile methods and CI/CD, DevSecOps and DevOps principals
Familiarity with Agile OA accelerated test cycle, including user stories development, continuous test team involvement in scrum meetings, development sprints, testing / fielding decisions of minimum viable products / minimum fieldable products
Responsibilities
Providing program management on Live Mission Operation Capability (LMOC) Modeling and Simulation systems. This includes but is not limited to: plan, schedule, coordinate, and perform technical and management aspects of multiple programs
Supporting and developing various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management
Developing and effectively managing program timelines to ensure completion of deliverables
Attending and participating in assigned programmatic meetings, assist in resolving program issues as needed
Maintaining a positive rapport with, and a good working knowledge of each M&S program
Analyzing, managing, and producing program test documentation (e.g.; briefings, plans, reports)
Maintaining regular contact with program offices and test team members to ensure delivery of requirements
Coordinating and participating in modeling and simuation training/test events
Participating in strategic planning activities relevant to program delivery
Supporting and coordinate with program level scheduling personnel
Supporting Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test (OT), Force Development Evaluation (FDE), Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and certification for test readiness
Preparing, executing, reviewing, and analyzing test plans, procedures, metrics, and reports throughout the software development life cycle. Develop and write methods of tests, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), test cases, test objectives/procedures, test directives, technical or letter reports, analysis and review of requirements, and other test process documents as required in the conduct of testing
Traveling to contractors' facilities, test sites, and other locations
