Litigation Of Counsel

Direct Counsel, a leading legal recruiting agency, is actively seeking accomplished attorneys to join a top-tier law firm within its distinguished Litigation group. This opportunity presents a unique chance for experienced litigators to contribute to impactful cases and collaborate with industry experts.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with clients, understanding and addressing their legal needs
• Supervise associates, providing guidance and support in their professional development
• Collaborate with experts in the field, leveraging their insights for case development
• Assist with fact development and depositions, ensuring comprehensive case preparation
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda with precision
• Contribute to the development of case strategy, offering valuable insights and perspectives
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, preferably gained in an AmLaw 100 firm
• Medical and/or scientific background, enhancing understanding of complex legal matters
• Expertise in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation
• Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is highly advantageous
• Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing effective collaboration
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities
• Immediately transferable skills and strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $400,000 to $550,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
