Direct Counsel, a leading legal recruiting agency, is actively seeking accomplished attorneys to join a top-tier law firm within its distinguished Litigation group. This opportunity presents a unique chance for experienced litigators to contribute to impactful cases and collaborate with industry experts.
Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate with clients, understanding and addressing their legal needs
Supervise associates, providing guidance and support in their professional development
Collaborate with experts in the field, leveraging their insights for case development
Assist with fact development and depositions, ensuring comprehensive case preparation
Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda with precision
Contribute to the development of case strategy, offering valuable insights and perspectives
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, preferably gained in an AmLaw 100 firm
Medical and/or scientific background, enhancing understanding of complex legal matters
Expertise in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation
Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is highly advantageous
Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing effective collaboration
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities
Immediately transferable skills and strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $400,000 to $550,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
