Litigation Counsel

My client in the digital infrastructure space is looking to bring on a Litigation Counsel!

Directly reporting into the Associate General Counsel of Litigation, you will work closely their legal and leadership teams to achieve positive results and minimize company risk through collaboration and documentation of critical information.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Legal Team by offering litigation assistance and guidance.
• Perform legal research.
• Prepare legal contracts and documents promptly and accurately.
• Conduct document review and discovery, and compile summaries and analyses.
• Provide counsel to leadership regarding legal strategies and potential risks.
• Stay updated on current legislation and industry developments.
• Develop strategies to enhance and resolve the company's legal matters.
• Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset where all tasks are valued.
• Excel in a hands-on environment, taking responsibility for results.
• Possess the skill to achieve a balanced approach between legal risks and business necessities.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school, along with a license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction. Preferred, but not required, licensure in Texas and Colorado.
• 2-3+ years of legal practice experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department, with a solid understanding of corporate litigation and commercial contract issues.
• Significant knowledge and experience in discovery and document review, preferably with exposure to the energy sector or employment law.
• Adaptability and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys and other team members to devise strategies for various business scenarios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
