About Us

MV Capital is a seed-stage liquid venture fund investing in early-stage projects across Web3 and Crypto. Its parent company MV Global invested over $100M across 250+ projects since 2017. MV Capital Fund I was raised based on the successful track record of the leaders at MV Global with notable investments such as Coinbase, Kraken, Circle, and others. Recently Coingecko cited MV as one of the top 20 most active investors of the past 5 years.

MV Capital Fund I has been deploying capital since 2021, with 35+ investments made and top-quartile results for our vintage year. Our average ticket size is roughly $250k with deployments ranging from $100k to $1.1m. We have made investments across multiple verticals but today are focused primarily on Defi, DEPIN, and middleware.

Today, we manage both a liquid and private book of roughly $35m in assets. We are actively managing our liquid book with select opportunities for continued private investments while fundraising for MV Capital Fund II, a target $50m-$75m fund.

The Opportunity

• We seek an analyst deep in the weeds of crypto working to find new ideas. They are in the Discords, in the Telegram chats, on Twitter, and surfacing new ideas in each vertical before others. You may describe yourself as a “degen”
• A key responsibility for this internship will be process automation for sourcing deals using the latest AI, machine learning techniques, and bots, sourcing deals from Telegram, Discord, Twitter and the like.
• You will be critical in identifying, evaluating, and executing investments in promising blockchain startups across various sectors.
• You will work collaboratively with the investment team to source new deals, conduct due diligence, negotiate terms, and manage portfolio companies.
• You will have the opportunity to put names (both liquid and venture) in our portfolio from day one.

Qualifications

• Coding experience is a must.
• Deep knowledge of specific sectors within the cryptocurrency and blockchain space (e.g., DeFi, DePin, L1s, L2s).
• Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain landscape, including key protocols, applications, and investment themes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex technical concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with founders, investors, and industry leaders.
• A passion for innovation and a strong belief in the potential of blockchain technology.
• Location: USA

Salary Compensation

• $1000 per week for June 10 to August 29 with the opportunity to continue
