Line Manager (Project Management Platform and Subject Matter Expert Platform)

POSITION SUMMARY:


We are looking for a Line Manager to manage the Project Management (PM) Platform team across four Government Programs (DHMSM, JOMIS, FEHRM, and EIDS), with the likely expansion to one or more additional platforms over time.


This role will assume project management responsibility for ongoing and new work performed by the platform(s), and continuously work to improve platform operations. This person will act as a representative of the client for Government Programs and Platform personnel.


Success in this role looks like having a pulse on all operations within the Platforms across the DHMS enterprise and leveraging expertise in implementing EHR systems to maximize outcomes for the Government Programs.


This person should be able to inspire and empower Platform team members to deliver against their respective priorities and KPIs, drive work independently, enable collective problem solving and best practices, prioritize responsibilities, and develop informed recommendations.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Manage Platform work, adopting project management responsibility for the PM Platform

  • Track progress against Platform work by maintaining a common backlog and managing dependencies appropriately
  • Support management of demand intake by helping platform(s) receive new service requests from Government


Continuously improve Platform operations and optimize outcomes for Government Programs

  • Promote knowledge sharing and address challenges within the Platform
  • Foster a deeper understanding of the Platform's role in contributing to overall operational success
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving use of Platform personnel, tools, and resources to optimize outcomes for Government Programs
  • Collect and update KPIs across the Platform to measure success in establishing best practices and improving quality and speed of enterprise operations
  • Leverage deep expertise of Government and EHR implementation to optimize Platform performance


Facilitate communication between the Platform, Government Programs, and the client to ensure alignment with Program priorities and visibility across operations

  • Provide input on the allocation of Platform capacity in partnership with Government Programs to ensure current and future Program priorities are met to the fullest extent possible
  • Act as first point of contact for both Platform personnel and Government Programs, representing the client to all stakeholders
  • Facilitate seamless communication and information sharing between Platform(s) and Government Programs, elevating obstacles or risks to Government Programs or the client as appropriate


Perform special projects and/or other duties as assigned or required


BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams
  • Prior DHA or government healthcare experience
  • Experience delivering & implementing EHR systems
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • Proficient computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Planner/Trello
  • U.S. Citizen and ability to get Common Access Cards (CAC) clearance

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills ; project self-confidence, authority, and enthusiasm
