About The Role
Lighting Installation Technicians are responsible for the installation of low-voltage lighting products while maintaining safe and professional standards. If certified for High Voltage, you will have the opportunity to work with both styles of voltage lighting, with the possibility of taking on an apprentice. Additionally, technicians will have to keep communications with Lighting Sales Specialist and the customer to ensure quality and maintain the scope of the project. Technicians will oversee instillations, any trouble shooting and all regular maintenance on the lighting systems on our maintenance plans.

About The Role
Lighting Installation Technicians are responsible for the installation of low-voltage lighting products while maintaining safe and professional standards. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations
- Hire, train, and coach employees
- Lead a small but dynamic team of sales reps and installers
- Manage employees' work hours, schedule, and payroll
- Manage sub-contractor (installers) relationships
- Manage inventory, project schedules, work orders and payment
- Confirm accuracy of estimates
- Prepare project plans for work orders
- Be a leader and mentor to the team
- Make sure employees are well trained in their area of expertise
- Manages vehicles, trailers, and maintenance
- Oversees office operations including supply orders
- Proficient in company software and best practices
- Planning daily installation routes to maximize efficiency
- Ability to communicate with customers in a calm, professional manner
- Highly organized with superior attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality outcomes. Occasional participation in local promotional activities to help grow the business
- Represent company within the local community
- This is a full-time position, and primary hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexible start/end times) with the potential for weekend hours. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required
- High School Diploma or GEDrequired
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a lead, supervisory or management role required
- Valid state driver’s licenserequired
- Strong ability to multi-task, stay organized, and communicate effectively
- Ability to work a full time position as by determined by seasonal fluctuations
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Journeyman's, EC or ES License (DBPR)
- Landscape Lighting, Recessed Lighting
- High Voltage or LowVoltage Technician
- Preferred minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience working with electricity
- Similar technical skills are accepted on a case-by-case basis
- Cable / Internet technician
- Irrigation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs
- Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” that may require local travel on short notice
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
