The Lighting Technician is responsible for traveling to commercial job sites to promptly and efficiently install lighting fixtures.

What You Will Do
Safety install LED lighting fixtures in commercial settings.
Replace existing lighting fixtures with LED alternatives, ensuring compatibility and proper wiring.
Retrofit existing light fixtures with new LED technology.
Removing existing interior/exterior fixtures and installing new LED fixtures.
Installation of motion-activated occupancy sensors and building controls.
Ensure efficient and low-voltage wiring to minimize energy consumption.
Operate lifts and equipment to access lighting fixtures.
Troubleshoot and fix electrical problems.
Cordially interact with customers and co-workers on a daily basis.
Complete general maintenance of vans and equipment.
Ensure job sites are free and clear of all debris each shift.
Safely install LED lighting fixtures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial spaces.
Adhere to electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals for installations when required.
Promote safety practices and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

What You Will Need
At least 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting electrical systems, especially lighting.
Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record required.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work on location without any direct supervision.
Must possess great verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in the use of computer applications.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times and take the initiative to get the job done
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods throughout the retail space
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at times
