Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000
Reports to: Showroom Manager and General Manager
Work Environment: Showroom setting with occasional site visits.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating lighting design concepts that enhance the architectural features of various spaces. This role involves conducting site evaluations, creating design proposals, specifying lighting fixtures and collaborating with builders, designers, and clients to realize their vision.
Responsibilities:
Design Development: Create lighting design concepts to enhance the architectural features of various spaces, integrating both natural and artificial light sources.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with builders, interior designers, and clients to understand their lighting needs and preferences.
Proposal Preparation: Develop and present design proposals, including renderings, and technical specifications.
Site Evaluations: Conduct site evaluations and light level measurements to ensure appropriate lighting design solutions.
Specification: Specify lighting fixtures and controls based on client requirements and budget constraints.
Coordination: Work with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the availability and timely delivery of lighting fixtures.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in lighting design. Accent Lighting supports continuing education through the American Lighting Association.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a Lighting Designer or in a similar role.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of lighting design principles and techniques.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and lighting calculation tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Creativity: Detail-oriented and creative with a strong aesthetic sense.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
