Perform assigned documentation and design lighting layouts in Revit.
Organize detailed construction document sets from beginning to end with direction. Use design software/technology, including Revit, BlueBeam, Adobe Creative Suite, ElumTools, AGi32, and other emerging technologies for presentation and production purposes.
Attend site-visits to resolve issues encountered in the field such as unforeseen conditions, code issues, and interpretation of construction documents.
Check submittals, issuing addenda and construction change directives.
Coordinate technical components of projects with other internal disciplines and outside consultants. This will include high amounts of collaboration with architects, interior designers, and electrical engineers, particularly during conceptual and pre-schematic phases.
Collaborate closely with lighting vendors and manufacturers.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of post-graduate lighting design experience for various building types.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering, Lighting Design, Theatrical Design, or related.
Experience with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design.
IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) Associate/Member.
CLD (Certified Lighting Designer).
Proficiency in Visual Lighting Software.
Experience in BlueBeam, ElumTools, or AGi32.
Experience using Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, and Teams.
