As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist at Retencity, you’ll be on the front lines of client communications, writing design briefs, project managing the design process, seeking approvals and revisions, coding, loading, QAing and deploying messages.

While your primary point of contact on the brand side is often a marketing leader, sometimes they’re even the Founder or CMO, so speaking the industry languages, and keeping up with trends and evolving capabilities is critical.

You’re an ace at ensuring that Retencity and clients are up to date, and feel confident in our work, results, and long term relationship. 


Responsibilities:


  • Support Retencity Strategists & Leadership with managing daily operations of lifecycle marketing software on behalf of clients. 
  • Create design briefs and provide copy and instruction for emails, SMS, MMS, Push notifications, and In-App Messaging.
  • Coordinate between client(s), designer(s), coder(s), and strategist(s) to ensure asset completion is executed to proper specifications. 
  • Execute email sends, including building advanced segments, QA, scheduling and deploying email and SMS sends in conjunction with content calendar
  • Check, start, and stop automated programs to ensure communications are running properly.
  • Create, schedule, and conduct meetings, as required.
  • Create monthly reporting to communicate performance to internal and client teams


  • Stay up to date on lifecycle best practices.
  • Participate in campaigns and initiatives for new client acquisition for Retencity. 
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.


Qualifications:


  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience in email + SMS marketing production, with at least 1 year in an agency setting
  • Familiarity with with HTML/CSS Required 
  • Hands on keyboards experience working with a variety of platforms (Klaviyo, Iterable, Braze, Attentive, Postscript, etc.,) a plus
  • Experience with eCommerce/ Retail brands and platforms, and the relevant ecosystem tech stack for email + SMS
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance in building lifecycle marketing revenue
  • Mobile App, Mobile Push, Web Push, In-App Messaging experience a plus
  • Highly process oriented, with the ability to project manage competing priorities in a disciplined manner while openly communicating with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong writing experience coupled with a drive to constantly improve your ability to connect through the written word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


This is a full-time, fully remote role.


Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annual salary
