Position Summary


As Licensing Practice Director at Mi-Case, a leading software company dedicated to enhancing the public sector, you will spearhead the development, execution, and management of innovative e-licensing software solutions. This pivotal role focuses on driving product innovation, operational excellence, and market leadership in the public sector. Your strategic vision and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of e-licensing systems, with a strong emphasis on security, efficiency, and user-centric design.



Responsibilities

Lead the e-licensing division, setting strategic direction, and defining key performance indicators aligned with the company’s objectives and market needs.

Participate actively in the entire product lifecycle of e-licensing software, from conceptualization and development through to deployment, maintenance, and enhancement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure the successful launch and adoption of e-licensing products.

Engage with clients, stakeholders, and partners to gather requirements, feedback, and insights to guide product development and innovation.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards applicable to e-licensing systems.

Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the division.

Manage divisional budget, resources, and timelines effectively to achieve business objectives.

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors, public sector agencies, and other relevant organizations.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums related to public sector and licensing.


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities, with a track record of driving product innovation and market success.

Public Sector industry experience required

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving industry landscape


Objectives


Innovate to Lead: Launch a flagship e-licensing software product within 6 months that introduces a groundbreaking feature not available in current market offerings. This product should aim to revolutionize one or more aspects of licensing management.


Expand Market Presence: Establish the division's revenue within the first two years by entering underserved markets and securing contracts with at least five agencies across different regions.


Elevate Customer Experience: Develop and implement a comprehensive customer engagement program. Aim to achieve a customer satisfaction score of 97% within the first year of program launch.


Optimize Operational Efficiency: Introduce agile methodologies and lean management practices to reduce product development cycles and operational expenses, without compromising on product quality or employee satisfaction.


Cultivate Talent and Leadership: Establish a division-wide professional development program focused on emerging technologies, leadership skills, and industry trends. Achieve a 90% retention rate among high-performing employees and fill all leadership positions needed.


Forge Strategic Alliances: Secure or reinforce at least two strategic partnerships with technology providers to integrate cutting-edge features into our products.


Achieve Best-in-Class Security Standards: Implement a comprehensive security and compliance framework that exceeds industry standards.


Brand Leadership: Work with marketing and sales to position Mi-Case as a thought leader in the public sector software industry through contributions to industry publications, speaking engagements at major conferences, and participation in public sector forums.


Educational/Training and Certification Requirements


Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience in software implementation as a client or provider.

Strong expertise of licensing management processes, challenges, and technological solutions.
