Library Media Specialist

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. www.wsesu.org/socjus Oak Grove School, in Brattleboro, VT has an opening for a Library Media Specialist beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. This position will be a .6 FTE with some flexibility to be a 1.0 FTE position for the right candidate. The library media specialist will provide all students with an enriching library environment and teach all students PK-6 how to take full advantage of the library media center resources. Candidates for this position will also collaborate with our technology integrationist to provide weekly STEAM lessons to students in grades K-6. The ideal candidate will: -Have experience in teaching students at multiple grade levels, -Will routinely collaborate with teachers as instructional partners, -Create and maintain a flexible teaching environment that is inviting and fosters student success. Candidates for this position must hold, or be eligible for, Vermont licensure as a School Librarian. The position is 0.6 FTE, with some flexibility to become a 1.0 FTE for candidates who meet additional criteria.
