We are currently seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates with expertise in transcribing depositions and hearings for a 100% remote Independent Contractor role.
Job Responsibilities
As a transcriptionist for VIQ Solutions, you will be responsible for transcribing content that includes depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. This position requires a keen eye for detail, familiarity with legal terminology, and impeccable grammar. Your role will involve processing audio recordings according to style guides to generate accurate verbatim transcripts.

Required Skills
Prior experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
Strong listening skills and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
Competence in remote collaboration and Microsoft Word
Typing accuracy and speed
Ability to handle sensitive audio/text content with professionalism
Willingness to undergo a background check
