Masterful Relationship Manager l Talent Acquisition Expert l Creative and Versatile Problem Solver
Company Our client is looking for a Research Analyst to support attorneys and staff with research, training and technology-related projects. This role will be hybrid, and it will report to the Director of Research & Innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize a combination of legal and general databases for quick lookups and detailed research.
Perform investigative research on potential clients, market trends, and niche subjects.
Develop and distribute alerts and newsletters regarding cases, companies, and legal matters to attorneys and staff.
Aid in the planning and execution of training sessions tailored to different skill levels and technological proficiencies.
Deliver in-person and online training on research tools and methodologies for legal professionals.
Oversee and update content on the firm's internal network and learning systems.
Create and maintain resource guides, pathfinders, and documentation to highlight the Information Resource Center's offerings.
Support knowledge management efforts and contribute to various special projects as necessary.
Assist in the organization and maintenance of the firm's legal knowledge assets.

Qualifications:
A degree from a Library and Information Science program accredited by ALA and/or a JD from an ABA-accredited institution. Equivalent experience is also considered.
Preferred, but not required, experience in a law firm environment.
Proficiency with research tools like Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, CapIQ, HighQ, and Intelligize.
Familiarity with business resources, specialized databases, and legal analytics tools.
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies; experience in web design is an advantage.
Effective communication skills with a diverse range of legal professionals and staff.
Keen attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and adept problem-solving skills.
