Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant for its client's New York office. This role is ideal for an individual who wants to make an impact in a high touch role. The individual in this role will be a consummate professional and right-hand person to the group head of a high-profile practice group.

We are searching for a sharp, experienced operational professional who enjoys solving complex problems and is motivated by flawless execution. Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to take full ownership of all administrative matters, including increasing the leader’s bandwidth by anticipating needs, taking ownership of planning, and executing activities.

Successful candidates will have strong business acumen as well as strong soft skills such as communication, prioritization, reasoning, and leadership skills. Successful candidates should demonstrate the ability to interface with senior stakeholders and clients, and exercise strong judgment within the business environment. The successful candidate will serve as a true gatekeeper, managing every aspect of the leader’s schedule and taking a proactive approach to managing the leader’s time.

Must possess the ability to make confident decisions, prepare the stakeholder for important meetings and assist with all aspects of travel. Key to success in this role will be a candidate’s ability to demonstrate a 24/7 mindset and availability to assist with tasks, on a regular basis, during off hours. The ideal candidate understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion.

New York Applicants (and roles reporting to New York): Salaries may vary by location. In New York, the estimated target salary range of this role is $115,000 - $128,000 in addition to bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefit package. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, class or graduation year, and education of the selected candidate.

All positions are full-time and require five days in the office. This position offers the privilege of flexibility, with a minimum of four days in the office per week. Regular, reliable attendance is expected and required. Additional hours may be required during periods of heavy workload. Flexibility is required in the daily work schedule to accommodate lawyers and general Firm requirements. In addition, for this position, ideally candidates are able to start 100% onsite for initial training/onboarding purposes (approximately the first 90 days).
