Legal / Conflicts Researcher

Actively seeking a LEGAL/CONFLICTS RESEARCHER (Evening Shift) for a REMOTE and Full-Time Position. The position requires that the candidate have at least 1+ years of Legal Research, Paralegal, or Professional Services experience to be considered.

HOURS: **NIGHT SHIFT** Monday – Friday, 12 Noon – 9 PM PST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: REMOTE | Must live in LA Metro Area

PAY: $65 - $75K (Commensurate w/Overall Experience & Location)

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED
• 1+ yrs of Legal / Law Firm / Research / Professional Services Experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Emphasis MS Word
• Fundamental Knowledge of Research Procedures & Methodology

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct thorough and accurate research of corporations, agencies and individuals
• Analyze and evaluate both the reference source research results and conflicts reports
• Inform attorneys and administrative staff as to whether potential or actual conflicts exist a
• Update the Firm’s conflicts database and billing database
• Conduct pro-active research of mergers, acquisitions and potential bankruptcies
• Handle additional Conflicts research and analysis projects as assigned
