Legal Associate

Locations: New York, Philadelphia, Richmond, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, or Portland

With 1 to 4 years experience, to join a reputable law firm's transactional tax team, with a focus on the energy industry. This position can be located in New York, Philadelphia, Richmond, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, or Portland, and additional locations may be considered depending on the candidates profile. Candidates should have experience in a transactional tax practice. Partnership experience, including drafting, is particularly helpful. Energy tax experience is helpful but not required as training will be provided. Candidates should have strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ideal candidates will have, or currently be in the process of earning, an LL.M. in taxation. If available, include LL.M. transcript as part of your materials.

As a part of the Tax Practice team, the position will have firm-wide interaction and client contact. The Tax & Benefits group and the Firm support the growth and development of its members by supporting involvement in professional organizations and speaking and writing opportunities.
