Legal Assistant/Paralegal

JURISolutions Legal has collaborated with a law firm located in Falls Church, VA to find a P/T Litigation Paralegal for a temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of litigation and trial support experience. Proficiency with CLIO is a big plus. This position mostly follows a remote schedule, with occasional visits to the office as needed.

Fundamental tasks include:

• Performing advanced level legal secretarial level job duties
• Assists and supports attorneys as needed
• Coordinate preparation of charts, graphs, and other visuals
• Communicate on behalf of the attorney to obtain information, follow up on delegated assignments, and know when to refer matters to the attorney
• Trial support (exhibits, binders, etc.)
• Maintain client/attorney confidentiality
• Maintain filing systems
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Requirements to be considered for this role include:

• 2+ years of litigation support experience is required
• Proficiency with CLIO software
• High school diploma is required. An associate degree is preferred.
• Able to prioritize time-sensitive assignments and find solutions to complete complex tasks
• Strong written and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail to ensure projects meet business goals
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
• MUST be authorized to work in the US.
