Then here's a great opportunity for you to work as a full-time Legal Assistant with Siegel Jennings Property Tax Law. You will be remotely supporting our Chicago team and must be a current resident of either Illinois, Pennsylvania or Ohio in order to be considered.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Draft basic correspondence
  • Request and track information from clients and government agencies, uploading to government sites, as required
  • Conduct internet research
  • Support case docket management functions, including tracking filing deadlines
  • Coordinate appraisal orders with clients, attorneys and appraisers
  • Perform administrative duties, including: scanning, maintaining and electronically filing documents in proprietary database; detailed data entry; and converting documents and data to different formats
  • Assist others and complete other duties, as requested

Your Background:

Minimum of 2 years of administrative office experience or internship required. Law firm experience, familiarity with legal terminology and/or real estate/appraisal knowledge considered a plus. Proficient computer skills and comfortable learning new software programs. Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe; DocuSign and database skills considered a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with diverse client base in a professional and service-oriented manner. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
