Legal Assistant

  • Assist attorney in preparing for hearings, trials, and motions
  • Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant case information
  • Basic drafting of legal documents, such as pleadings, and discovery
  • Organize and maintain case files and documents
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments for attorneys
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Assist with document production and discovery processes
  • Help prepare trial exhibits and assist with courtroom logistics


Requirements

  • Proficiency with MS WORD, skilled at word processing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and document litigation procedures and court rules
  • Proficient in clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents
  • Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Ideal candidate would be recent graduate who is motivated to learn

Salary commensurate with experience.
