Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for the legal field? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client's team as a Legal Administrative Assistant in Downtown Chicago. As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the legal team in their day-to-day operations.
Legal Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Drafting and editing legal documents, correspondence and other materials with accuracy and attention to detail
- Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files, ensuring documents are filed appropriately and are easily accessible
- Assisting with document production, including printing, copying, scanning and binding
- Conducting research and gathering information as needed to support legal cases and projects
- Communicating professionally and effectively with clients, court personnel and other external parties
- Performing other administrative tasks as assigned to contribute to the efficient operation of the legal department
Legal Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous legal experience (legal assistant, paralegal, admin, etc)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
