Company Description
The Chicago College of Oriental Medicine (CCOM) was founded by Dr. Yong Gao Wang in response to the limited exposure to Oriental Medicine in the Midwest. CCOM aims to promote holistic health and healing through the practice of clinical diagnosis, acupuncture, and other forms of alternative therapy. While there are several Eastern Medicine Colleges on the East and West coasts, Chicago currently has only two. Dr. Wang, a practicing acupuncturist in Chicago, recognized the need for trained practitioners and established CCOM to expand the practice of Eastern Medicine as a complementary option to Western healthcare delivery.
