Lease Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and apply lease agreement clauses to manage and execute recovery billings.
  • Accurately calculate, prepare, and issue year-end CAM and real estate tax recovery billings.
  • Make monthly adjustments to CAM and tax billings based on budgeted costs.
  • Handle account adjustments and perform thorough account reconciliations.
  • Manage baseline collections of recovery billings and prepare special billings as required.
  • Address and resolve recovery-related tenant disputes effectively.
  • Respond to tenant correspondences, including CAM audits, and participate in related discussions.
  • Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as needed to support the lease administration team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Lease Administration experience, specifically in a retail real estate or property management context.
  • An undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Strong background in the preparation and billing of CAM and Real Estate Tax recoveries within a retail real estate environment.
  • Ability to work independently with outstanding organizational and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both orally and in writing, to effectively handle tenant and internal correspondences.
