Come build innovative learning experiences that develop the core behaviors associated with Customer Obsession! The Customer Obsession Learning team is looking for a creative, tech savvy Learning Experience Designer (LXD) with experience working across multiple instructional delivery modalities. The LXD will create high-quality training content in the following formats: interactive eLearning, videos and animations, instructor-led content, virtual workshops, toolkits, and simulations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working end-to-end on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The candidate should be an adult learning expert who is creative, analytical, and customer-obsessed.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create blended learning materials using appropriate tools and delivery methods
  • Evaluate learning solutions for quality, behavioral impact, and scalability
  • Leverage technology to enhance learner access and provide just-in-time learning
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to ensure learning needs are met
  • Stay up-to-date on new learning approaches, technologies, and tools
  • Participate in our learning community to share best practices
  • Develop assessments to measure learner outcomes

About The Team

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design and learning content development
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and assessing training to industry standards
  • Strong working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Captivate, Articulate)
  • Excellent visual design and user experience skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • LMS administration experience (e.g. Cornerstone)
  • Background in instructional design, curriculum development, or performance improvement
  • Graduate degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, corporate training environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $123,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
