Learning Development Specialist:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Learning Development Specialist to join their team!

Responsibilities:

  • Guide new employees through the onboarding process, introducing them to their workspace and key software tools.
  • Work with IT, leadership, and experts to identify training needs and create a comprehensive learning plan.
  • Create and deliver dynamic training sessions using various methods, including live instruction, online courses, webinars, and workshops.
  • Utilize adult learning theories and modern teaching techniques to ensure effective knowledge transfer and retention. Oversee the learning management system (LMS), ensuring all user profiles and training materials are current and accessible to employees.
  • Assess the success of training programs and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in legal technology and integrate relevant topics into the training curriculum.
  • Collaborate with experts to simplify complex technical information into clear, understandable learning experiences.
  • Support the rollout of new systems and technologies by providing thorough training and support materials.
  • Promote a collaborative learning environment by facilitating the sharing of knowledge and best practices within the IT department and the client.
  • Enhance workforce performance and engagement through effective management of onboarding and ongoing training practices.
  • Uphold the client's culture and standards by introducing new hires to proprietary processes, programs, and work environments.
  • Train users on general software applications, databases, and other support tools.
  • Assist in the analysis, review, recommendation, and implementation of new software or web-based products.
  • Conduct specialized and new application training as needed for attorneys and staff.
  • Monitor requests and escalate issues to vendors or IT staff as necessary to ensure prompt problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with Desktop Support to provide consistent information to end users regarding the use of our client's applications and systems.
  • Analyze trends in help desk tickets to develop and deliver relevant training aimed at reducing similar issues.
  • Measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs and LMS user adoption.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2 or more years of experience in training and technical education.
  • Strong working knowledge of learning and development models, instructional design, and adult learning theory.
  • Show expertise and practical experience with the ADDIE instructional design model (or a comparable framework).
  • Possess outstanding skills in communication, presenting, and facilitating.
  • Capable of handling several projects at once while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Quickly acquire new skills, displaying adaptability and responsiveness to change.
  • Skilled in utilizing learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a law firm or legal environment preferred.
  • Work with IT Team to develop and deliver applicable training on software upgrades and stays up to date with emerging technologies.
