Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary:

Illuminate USA is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Learning and Organization Development Leader to support our training and organization initiatives at our new factory in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you'll collaborate with department leaders and the Head of Learning and Talent Development, HR Business partners to oversee the design, development and implementation of dynamic training programs that drive professional growth and reinforce our vibrant corporate culture. This leader will be responsible for the overall learning strategy, establishing programs, practices and processes that facilitate a learning culture.


Your role will involve cross-functional collaboration to identify training needs, enhance existing programs, and discover innovative training methods and resources. Your dedication to nurturing talent will be key in creating a learning-focused environment that propels our teams toward success.


Responsibilities:

  • Build out the learning and organization development and L&D teams from the ground up, establishing the strategy, requirements, systems and processes needed to understand the learning and development needs for today and tomorrow.
  • Manage and mature the overall learning processes from design, development, practices, and tools that support the growth of our people and business.
  • Oversee designing, planning, and implementing comprehensive training and development programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish the roadmap and learning journey for associates to grow skills, knowledge and experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with functional teams to assess current and future training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs.
  • Continuously research innovative training techniques and propose enhancements to align with our evolving organizational needs.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to establish a comprehensive training program
  • Forge strategic partnerships with vendors to access supplemental training programs and content.
  • Maintain the currency and effectiveness of training resources and delivery methods.
  • Establish and oversee the performance, development and succession management programs.
  • Lead the learning needs analysis process to develop the road map towards a culture where learning is enabled and encouraged in all we do.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs within a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • At least 3 years of leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of human development, adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and learning analytics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training-related software.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards
