Your role on the dream team: Learning and Development Trainer

The scope of work for the Professional Development Trainer Generalist is to work collaboratively with the Professional Development team and all SPIN provider departments to ensure each department is compliant with their associated regulations.

Accountabilities

  • Ensures that each program service department is compliant with all training regulations and requirements by maintaining SPIN’s training scheduler database, updating all employees training files as appropriate and completing archiving when needed.
  • Has knowledge of and maintains compliance for all other monitoring entities; PMT, CBH, ODP including sign in sheets
  • By utilizing SPIN’s training database, runs reports to ensure all employees are registered for appropriate training track and ensures completion of all trainings. Administers supervisories as necessary in collaboration with Director, Professional Development.
  • Communicates training compliance status with SPIN Management and seeks individualized support when necessary to ensure annual compliance.
  • Coordinates and participates in all Licensure reviews, auditing and credentialing visits.
  • Interfaces with SPIN’s recruitment department to coordinate monthly training calendar and facilitate new hire process.
  • Ensures room availability for all training courses including trainings supported by other SPIN departments and all external bookings.
  • Maintains current trainer certification records and seeks supplementary trainer services when necessary in support of coverage, quality control and best practice outcomes.
  • Interfaces, supports and interacts with SPIN’s workforce in navigating professional development opportunities and expectations through various modes of positive communication including, but not limited to telephone, email, face to face and written modalities.
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with Information Technology department to ensure efficient, effective and progressive data based systems are present and participates in problem solving to ensure accurate reporting, tracking and compliance

The tools you need

  • Associates Degree or Completion of SPIN’s Leadership Pathway required , Bachelor's preferred
  • Two years’ experience providing direct care
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license, own vehicle and insurance.
