Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist (Hybrid)

Client: Health Care Industry

Duration: 12 months contract

Location: Owings Mills, MD 21117

Job Description:

Purpose:

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training to equip employees with necessary skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver training reflecting adult learning principles.
  • Improve training content based on business trends and evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain training materials.
  • Coordinate training schedules.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Guide and mentor less experienced staff; may lead a team of matrixed resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 extra years of relevant experience.

Experience:

  • 2 years delivering training or adult learning modules.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of adult learning methods and LMS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and video editing.
  • Strong research, analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Positive customer service.

Physical Demands:

  • Mostly seated, occasional walking/standing.
  • Frequent use of hands for typing.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
