We are seeking a reliable and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator to join our GA Telesis People Operations team at our headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The L&D Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting GA Telesis’ commitment to providing our employees with opportunities to learn and grow, including high impact, high visibility programs. The Coordinator will aid in designing learning paths to upskill employees through defined career tracks. In addition, the Coordinator will work cross-functionally with subject matter experts and managers to define key learning areas and deliver opportunities related to the ever-changing aviation industry.
Responsibilities
Ensure all mandatory compliance training is updated, delivered, and tracked to meet legal and regulatory requirements pertinent to the organization. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support training needs
Ensure training aligns with organizational goals and values
Develop additional training and reference materials, including course outlines, presentations, eLearning content, job aids, manuals, and assessments.
Perform training administrative functions, including maintaining training files and LMS records.
Assist in designing and developing training materials
Conduct gap analysis to identify needs and offer learning and development solutions.
Asset and test LMS features to minimize error and limit negative impact to internal clients.
Maintain and upload new information as assigned.
Support needs analysis, provide appropriate solutions, and partner on the execution of hourly training initiatives.
Work with Subject Matter Experts to gain comprehensive knowledge of the subject area being trained and ensures the development and validation of training content are reviewed and approved by the proper parties
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Business, Education, Human Resources or related field
1-2 years of experience administering LMS software/tools, required.
Knowledge and understanding of Adult Learning Principles.
Knowledge in Education Technology- combining IT and Education practices to drive learning outcomes
Strong understanding of training methodologies, e-learning platforms and creating educational content.
