Purpose: The leadership research internship will aid and support the deliverables of the Impact Measurement Department. This includes: utilize qualtrics to build level 1-2 end-of-course evaluations and level 3-4 post-training surveys, downloading & summarizing results data, producing results documents (PPTs, PDF, etc.), supporting CST requests, and maintaining /upgraiding the SharePoint site. This role understands the measurement process at Blanchard from start to finish, the tools and processes that have shape both the client and Blanchard process, and seeks to innovate and simplify while maintaining data security and minimizing human error. It is a role that requires high technical proficiency (Qualtrics, Excel, or other survey tools) alongside a deep understanding of I-O psychology topics such as performance appraisal, training design, research methods, survey design and development, and statistics, as well as benefitting greatly from other topics such as assessments and evaluations, work attitudes, and organizational behavior.

Part-Time Hourly Range: $20-$25
Duties include:
Qualtrics
Build evaluations and surveys
Strong understanding of basic features and functions
Ability to implement more complex features, including Display Logic, Embedded Data, Piped Text, and some JavaScript
Create templates for standard evaluations and surveys
Export and export raw data in multiple formats
Utilize Qualtrics Results and Reports, as well as generating public, shareable results links
Perform data backup using the SFTP automated export feature
Build PowerPoint results from the results generated
Work with old/existing Blanchard evaluations and surveys, including making modifications and generating results
Support any/all Qualtrics needs, such as research initiatives and aggregation requests
Manage Qualtrics account limits including project count, active survey, and response count
Microsoft Excel
Understand how to use formulas, including SUM()/AVERAGE(), VLOOKUP()/HLOOKUP(), and COUNTIF()/COUNTIFS()
Clean up data generated from various sources
Run basic statistical analyses
Create charts and graphs
Build PivotTables for faster analysis
Ability to use VBA for automation

Create data sources, connect to databases, and transform data as needed
Understand modeling and relationships, including specifying cardinality
Build visualizations and slicers
Publish and share results to various platforms, including SharePoint and Teams

Create ‘Self-Service’ Level 1-2 tools/resources for CSTs
Support a “Measurement Champion” for each CST
Self-Service process for all OTS Evaluations and Surveys
Build tools and resources, such as video tutorials, handouts, SharePoint pages, and others
Develop evidence/results to support sales
Support studies on all core products (RFP/Sales enablement results PPTs)
Studies that compare modalities (F2F, VILT, & digital)
Partner with Dissertation Students on research
Innovate and Automate
Review the current processes and develop ways to simplify and automate using current and potentially new tools
Maintain client data security and data integrity through role permissions and access to data/results
Business Development
Effective a providing a general education and overview of measurement and Blanchard’s measurement practice
Articulates pros and cons of various measurement solution and sustainment strategies
Prepares executive presentations after data collection
Supports Marketing efforts on key measurement and impact study topics
Delivery Services
Develops, documents and refines best practices for collecting and communicating measurement data
Provide support to Sales and Project Management during the implementation process
Other
Support New Product design team by researching empirical evidence linking behaviors and outcomes
Support Blanchard/Organizational research
Support Blanchard as a measurement Thought Leader – book/webinars/keynotes/blog/social media
Drafts sales support tools
Yearly updates/refinements of Evaluations and Surveys
Works with Blanchard leadership to identify and execute on highest priority measurement projects
Works collaboratively across the organization and share best practices across the company
Tracks defined metrics quarterly including number of clients/topics supported, amount of evaluations/surveys built, etc
Education & Experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred in Psychology/IO Psychology, Data Analytics, or related field
Strong/Advanced skills in Qualtrics or other survey platform
Strong/Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI
Moderate skills in VBA and JavaScript
