The Department's OIT is seeking the services of an experienced Xamarin Mobile Application Developer . The candidate will be required to successfully complete tasks in relation to the Scope of Work in Section 2.3 below.
"The Applications Development Analyst will perform the following duties and responsibilities in this position:
Ensure the analysis and design solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies that comply with the Department's architectural standards;
Design, code, test, implement, and support Xamarin / Maui mobile applications to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget;
Make recommendations regarding reuse of existing code or development of new code;
Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations;
Provide senior level programming support with managing expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide regular briefings for the OIT executive leadership;
Work independently and as part of a larger cross-functional team; and
Complete activities surrounding the implementation and support of agency governance. "
Location
The work shall be conducted onsite with the Department's OIT in the Carlton Building, at 501 S. Calhoun Street Tallahassee, Florida.
Requirements/Qualifications
"The Department is seeking a full-time, on-site, Xamarin Mobile Application Development Analyst throughout the contract term of this RFQ. The position's required education, required qualifications, and preferred qualifications are described in Sections 4.1 through 4.3 below, and must be verifiable in the candidate's resume.
NOTE: Any successful candidate with access to the Department's network is required to complete the Department's Security Awareness Training within 30 calendar days of hire.

4.1 Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college/university, in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience.
4.2 Required Qualifications
"The Department requires the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:
Two (2) or more years of professional experience in a lead developer role for native mobile applications using Xamarin / Maui;
Three (3) or more years of experience with C# and/or Visual Basic .NET (or 5 years combination of C# and Visual Basic.NET) and ASP.NET;
Five (5) or more years of experience with SQL Server database;
Two (2) or more years of experience in relevant architecture;
Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration;
Expert Level Proficiency programming in Xamarin;
Proficiency with Visual Basic, C#, .NET. and VBScript;
Proficiency coding ASP.NET Web applications and ASP / VBScript web pages;
Proficiency coding C#.NET Windows based applications;
Proficiency developing XML Web Services, WebAPI, and Server Components with C#.NET;
Experience with IOS/Android mobile development;
Experience developing applications for Corporate owned devices with mobile device management; and
Proficiency in Querying MS-SQL using T-SQL."
