Global Physical Security

Our diverse global team of experienced experts in the Global Physical Security & Resilience (GPSR) program at EA works with our partners to provide for the safety and security of employees, assets, events, and guests through vigilance, prevention, and response.

Summary

You will conduct and resolve internal and external investigations globally, including threats to EA employees (including executive employee protection), facilities, and events. You will assist the Manager with the daily operations of the team and help train other analysts in Open Source and Social Media research techniques. You will report to the Manager, Protective Investigations. Open to hybrid or fully remote.

Your Responsibilities

  • Produce an advanced level of credible and relevant information to lead investigations, develop proactive leads, and inform operators and business decision makers.
  • Conduct the identification, investigation, and case management of threats to EA's employees, facilities, and players, including the collection and analysis of social media, open source, and proprietary information to help guide investigations.
  • Ensure investigative reporting to internal and external customers is clear and concise, and maintain professional relationships with partners including law enforcement, public safety, intelligence, and investigative organizations.
  • Assist or lead subject interviews to mitigate risk of violence.
  • Conduct threat briefings for a variety of levels of customers as requested (by phone, video conference, in-person briefing, or industry conference).
  • Develop, track, and maintain reporting of statistical and written analysis of user threats, incidents, and investigations for management review.

You will have the following expertise

  • Knowledge of technical skills which allow for collaborating with Information Technology to implement technical solutions specific to investigations.
  • Subject matter expertise in Open Source and Social Media research and investigation skills specific to a corporate high-tech environment.
  • Proficiency in threat assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong and effective communication skills, including providing high-level briefings.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in a similar role within a Global Corporate Security Team, law enforcement, or military organization.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of requisite experience and education.

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $103,200 - $145,600 USD Annually

  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):

º $92,600 - $145,600 USD Annually

  • Jersey City, NJ :

º $117,300 - $145,600 USD Annually

  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

º $111,800 - $151,800 USD Annually

  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

º $92,600 - $135,600 USD Annually

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
