LEAD DESIGNER

We are currently looking for an interior designer with strengths in multi-family experience. Must be proficient in AutoCAD. The position will be required to oversee and lead/co-lead multiple projects.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Plan, create and furnish interiors in high-end multi-family, hospitality and residential projects.

·       Complete constructions documents in CAD format using industry, departmental, and discipline standards.

·       Learn and apply company’s drawing standards.

·       Source and select finishes.

·       Prepare and participate in client presentations.

·       Coordinate with consultants (Architects, Landscape, MEP, etc) to ensure coordination effort is maintained.

·       Knowledge of applicable codes and the ability to implement including IBC & ADA.

·       Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.

·       Examine Shop drawing for compliance with cited specifications.

·       Respond to RFI’s.

·       Collaborate with the team for FFE selections.

·       Oversee installation of the FFE.

·       Conduct site visits as required. 

Qualifications

·       Interior Design degree.

·       5-7 Years in Interior Design preferably with multi-family experience.

·       Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

·       SketchUp and Revit experience a plus.

·       Strong written and communication skills.

·       Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills.

·       Multi-Family experience a must.
