Position Overview
As an Academic Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering academic excellence and supporting the professional development of our faculty members. This multifaceted position involves providing guidance, supervision, and mentorship to faculty, ensuring adherence to curriculum standards, and facilitating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and supervision to faculty on instructional methods, course content, and professional development.
Support curriculum development and ensure compliance with educational standards.
Teach a maximum of three courses per term, delivering high-quality instruction and documenting student progress.
Serve as the lead for academic programs, overseeing curriculum committees and contributing to program development.
Manage course schedules, faculty assignments, and hiring processes as needed.
Conduct classroom observations and annual faculty reviews, providing constructive feedback.
Handle day-to-day administrative tasks and respond promptly to faculty inquiries.
Maintain a high level of faculty morale through effective communication and support initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through previous experience and credentials.
Minimum of two years of experience in higher education, preferably in academic advising or student-centered roles.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate academic field.
