Lead, Growth Strategist

We are seeking a talented Lead Strategist to help make sure our clients are being served with the best possible strategy and execution. Both through your own efforts, strategy and expertise, and through leveraging our internal Subject Matter Experts, and available resources.

This role requires a strong foundation in Paid Social Media and SEM account structures, ad types, analysis, and copy writing. A blend between creative strategy and logical reasoning. You will work with the client from the creation through on-boarding and launch, implementing strategy, developing tracking and measurement plans, analyzing, optimizing and reporting throughout the life of the campaign.

You should educate clients about the latest strategies, stay on top of the industry news, trends, blog posts, and software. A go-to-resource our clients can depend on and always on the lookout for ways to help them by going above and beyond to deliver. You are able to take a 15,000 foot view over a number of client accounts, taking yourself a bit outside of paid acquisition and are able to understand each business holistically.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning and managing a large book of business paid media performance and associated metrics
  • Leading white-glove lifecycle service to our clients; including the development of client onboarding roadmaps, new client audits, goal setting & ensuring pacing, removing account roadblocks, and providing proactive communication with clients to ensure an exceptional experience.
  • Leading client-facing communications on tactical strategy and projections that increase the strategic approach for our clients
  • Connecting the dots between data, creative, and media buying so that we can drive profitable customer acquisition for our clients
  • Leading the CRO efforts of clients and establishing the CRO roadmap; then executing against it through setup and optimization of tests
  • Assisting on the sales cycle to help close new business as needed; specifically being the first in line to do upsell/cross-selling
  • Opening up new marketing channels as primary offerings as needed and opportunistically
  • Improving our training, systems, data transparency & processes across the org to ensure we are maximizing the time spent by our team and that they have the information needed to make decisions
  • Leading strategy meetings with buyers using data from Google Analytics to help our team identify, discuss and solve issues for clients
  • Managing and mentoring a team including coaching to identify, discuss and solve problems to ensure client performance goals are met. Pivots to address any lags & elevate service.
  • Directing flexible contract resourcing and planning associated budgets as necessary in support of client/team work.

Experience:

  • 2+ years in a client-facing role, with a demonstrated passion for innovation, strategy, thinking outside of the box, establishing positive customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations
  • 3+ years of Paid Media Management
  • Background in subscription commerce companies and ecommerce ideal
  • Ability to express analytical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Digital Media experience/background
  • Familiarity with relevant tools such as Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Supermetrics
  • Knowledge of CRO, Landing Page Copywriting and Design & SEO are a plus
