The Global Digital Marketing Lead for Men's Football Athletes at Nike plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies for the company's elite football athletes. The ideal candidate envisions how Nike football can drive digital innovation, inspiration and connection, to enhance engagement with football consumers worldwide through our elite athlete portfolio. To excel in this role, you possess critical thinking, an entrepreneurial spirit, and experience in talent marketing, enabling you to shape the future playbook for successful digital athlete marketing. Additionally, this role demands a deep understanding of the sports marketing landscape, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Work On

This role will define and lead global digital marketing plans to make athlete dreams real, delivering disruptive ideas to drive consumer engagement with Nike Football and orchestrating digital experiences to drive growth for Nike Football footwear and apparel, putting the football-obsessed consumer at the center. You will be elite athlete-led first, meaning you will support initiatives tied to elite athletes, but may expand into other areas of Nike Football digital marketing depending on those initiatives. Strategically, you will help build on Nike Football's digital POV surrounding elite athletes. This includes managing end-to-end digital marketing content and journey briefs, as well as driving transformative digital initiatives from ideation to strategy to execution in partnership with key global football partners and GEOs.

Who You Will Work With

We're an inclusive, innovative, and passionate team. You will report directly to the Global Digital Marketing Director of Nike Football. You will work closely and collaboratively with Global Brand Management, Sports Marketing, Integrated Media, Social, Comms, Creative, and Business leads, in Global as well as with Geography partners in North America, APLA, Greater China and EMEA. As needed, you will manage agencies and partners to bring strategies to life.

What You Bring

You will bring a desire to be part of a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of digital marketers who have a passion for football (soccer) and crafting meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 5 years of experience driving Digital Marketing at a global, geo and/or city level
  • Able to identify digital opportunities in athlete marketing and lead the development of initiatives from strategy to execution that enhance brand presence and engagement in these areas
  • Proven track record of leading transformative initiatives in consumer engagement, preferably within football (soccer)
  • Strong understanding of full funnel digital marketing strategies and how to collaborate with brand, creative, paid media, retail, social & comms
  • Strong understanding of talent marketing, and a proven track record in driving elite athlete marketing plans
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbally
  • Great interpersonal skills and teamwork mentality and ability to work well with many different specialists
  • Experience managing agencies and third-party vendors
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, a strong sense of personal accountability, a bias for action, and an ability to work autonomously
  • Genuine passion for the game of football, it's athletes, and the culture that surrounds it
