Responsibilities:

• Obtain bids on projects from Subcontractors and Suppliers.
• Foster communication with clients and architects.
• Oversee and facilitate the training of new Estimators, as required.
• Examine estimates for data completeness and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Analyze project plans and specifications; coordinate with the team for a comprehensive scope.
• Negotiate with Subcontractors for more favorable prices.
• Secure multiple bids for each scope, selecting the most fitting for the project.
• Understand estimating scope, schedule of execution, structure, and report formats.
• Review subcontractor estimates for thoroughness and alignment with the project’s physical scope.
• Support project teams in addressing estimating challenges, including cost, schedule, and changes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
• Prior supervisory or project leadership roles in a construction setting is an advantage.
• 10-15 years of experience in the commercial construction sector.
• Outstanding organizational, negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership competencies.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
