Job Title: Lead Architect

Location: Remote

Job Description

We're seeking a Lead Architect to shape the technical direction and architecture of our projects. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that meet our organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of technical architecture for projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture standards, and establish best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending solutions to enhance our technical capabilities.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Oversee the implementation of architectural principles, patterns, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, security practices, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Mentor junior architects and developers to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our architectural practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF certification are advantageous.
