Our client is looking for a dedicated and motivated Case Manager Supervisor to join their growing team. This role involves leading a team of case managers and handling high-level clients. Every new client is assigned to a case manager, and your role will include calling current clients about their medical treatment status and keeping them updated on their cases. You will also communicate with insurance adjusters and medical providers to gather necessary case materials for attorneys. This position offers flexibility with potential locations in Chicago Loop, Beverly, or Indianapolis, and the option for a hybrid remote schedule. Fully remote positions are available for those with relevant experience residing outside Illinois or Indiana, with an initial training period in the Beverly office.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of case managers, providing guidance, support, and supervision.
  • Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients, ensuring they are informed about their case progress and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Case Management: Oversee the collection and organization of case materials, ensuring timely and accurate progression of cases.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle escalated client issues and resolve conflicts within the case management team effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in personal injury or a law firm setting.
  • Proficiency with case management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey confidence and empathy over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and procedural guidance to case managers.
  • Ensure team adherence to timelines and performance targets.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address training needs.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
