Are you passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes and revolutionizing supply chain operations? We're seeking a skilled Laundry Manufacturing, Supply Chain, & Tariff Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of innovation in the laundry industry, navigating regulatory landscapes and enhancing operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Industry Expertise: Serve as a knowledgeable resource in laundry manufacturing, supply chain management, and tariff regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Market Research: Dive deep into client needs, challenges, and goals within the industry. Conduct thorough assessments of manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and tariff strategies.
Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Implement recommendations to streamline production workflows and minimize waste.
Supply Chain Management: Evaluate supply chain processes, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Identify opportunities to optimize inventory management and reduce lead times.
Tariff Compliance: Assist in understanding and adhering to tariff regulations, including duties, trade agreements, and customs procedures. Provide guidance on tariff classification and documentation requirements.
Cost Efficiency Initiatives: Identify cost-saving opportunities across manufacturing and supply chain operations. Develop strategies to negotiate favorable pricing and minimize expenses related to tariffs.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in operations, such as supply chain disruptions or regulatory challenges. Implement strategies to ensure business continuity.
Project Management: Lead consulting projects from start to finish, managing timelines, deliverables, and client communications effectively.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, business administration, international trade, or related field.
5-10 years of proven experience in product management within the laundry industry, with a deep understanding of production processes and technologies.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
