As a full-time landscape foreman, you’ll be trained in all of our products and be able to deliver a quality installation. This position is also the perfect entrance into all other aspects of our business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lays Sod
  • Performs Trimming, Planting, and Mulching
  • Lays Rock
  • Installs Retaining Walls
  • Digs, and Rakes Grass and/Ground
  • Performs Sprinkler Installation
  • Drives a Company truck
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Employee agrees to wear Highlands Landscaping & Fencing apparel when on the job

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Continually required to stand
  • Continually required to walk
  • Occasionally/ required to sit
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Continually required to talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to taste or smell
  • Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
  • Continually work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally work in precarious places
  • Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
  • Continuous exposure to outside weather conditions
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually loud
  • The employee must continually lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

BENEFITS:

  • You will earn 5 days of paid vacation time per year for the first three years.
  • After 3 years you will earn 10 days of paid vacation time per year.
  • In the morning we provide coffee, tea, and every Friday have donuts and fruits.
  • After 90 days you are eligible for medical insurance

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALARY: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour
