DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lays Sod
Performs Trimming, Planting, and Mulching
Lays Rock
Installs Retaining Walls
Digs, and Rakes Grass and/Ground
Performs Sprinkler Installation
Drives a Company truck
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Employee agrees to wear Highlands Landscaping & Fencing apparel when on the job
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Continually required to stand
Continually required to walk
Occasionally/ required to sit
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
Continually required to talk or hear
Occasionally required to taste or smell
Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
Continually work near moving mechanical parts
Occasionally work in precarious places
Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
Continuous exposure to outside weather conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually loud
The employee must continually lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
BENEFITS:
You will earn 5 days of paid vacation time per year for the first three years.
After 3 years you will earn 10 days of paid vacation time per year.
In the morning we provide coffee, tea, and every Friday have donuts and fruits.
After 90 days you are eligible for medical insurance
The Company offers supplemental insurance
On your birthday you will receive a card and a gift card.
You will be provided with uniforms.
