Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Craftsman with expertise in paver installation, including sand set, pedestal, and mortar techniques. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their craft, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Paver Installation: Execute precise and high-quality installation of various types of pavers, including sand set, pedestal, and mortar applications
Site Preparation: Prepare job sites for paver installation, including excavation, grading, and base material preparation, ensuring proper drainage and stability
Material Handling: Handle and transport pavers and related materials safely and efficiently, taking care to prevent damage or loss
Equipment Operation: Operate machinery and equipment necessary for paver installation, such as compactors, saws, and lasers, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet company standards and client expectations for quality, durability, and aesthetics
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process, adapting techniques as needed to achieve desired outcomes
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the construction team, including project managers, designers, and fellow craftsmen, to coordinate workflows and deliver projects on schedule
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment and using personal protective equipment as required
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape construction, with a focus on paver installation
Proficiency in various paver installation techniques, including sand set, pedestal, and mortar applications
Strong understanding of landscape construction principles, including grading, drainage, and site preparation
Ability to operate relevant machinery and equipment safely and effectively
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
