We're currently in search of a dynamic and motivated Master Planner/Urban Designer to join our Irvine, California team. As a key member of our Planning Studio, you'll collaborate closely with our talented Designers and Architects to shape urban infill neighborhoods and master planned communities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of site plan feasibility studies and conceptual site plans, working closely with the project manager.
Produce visually compelling master planning and urban design graphics to effectively convey project concepts.
Offer support and contribute to ongoing projects and client requirements.
Conduct research to understand zoning codes and design guidelines governing site development.
Coordinate project activities with clients and the design team to prepare entitlement packages.
Cultivate a collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture, planning, civil engineering, or landscape architecture.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Actively participate in industry organizations.
Proficient in essential software applications: AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Word, and Excel.
Preferred skills in 3-D modeling using SketchUp or Lumion.
Proficiency in expressing ideas through hand sketches using various media.
Ability to interpret and utilize data provided by clients and local authorities.
Strong team player with a proven track record of meeting project deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Civil Engineering.
