Role Description

As a Contract Landman, you will be responsible for conducting mineral and leasehold title research, generating ownership reports and runsheets, and negotiating lease agreements.

Please note: this role is listed as "On-site in Midland, Texas", however, selected candidates must be willing to travel and work on-site in courthouses across various counties throughout the Permian Basin (West Texas and Southeast New Mexico).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a landman focused on mineral and leasehold title
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Commerce, Business Management, or related field
• Experience in researching and interpreting lease agreements and other mineral related contracts
• Proficiency in conducting title examinations and due diligence on state, federal and fee lands
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
• Willingness to travel and ability to work on-site in courthouses Monday - Friday
• Demonstrated competitive mentality
• Strong determination to succeed

Compensation

Day Rate commensurate with experience.
