Day-to-Day

Insight Global is seeking a Land Use Planner to join a prestigious global law firm client. This is a full-time position based out of the law firm's Tysons, VA or Washington, D.C. office locations. The land use planner will be joining the firm’s land use & zoning practice group and be responsible for analyzing recently acquired rural and urban land to ensure that all land use plans are safe, efficient, and environmentally-friendly.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Developing proposals, processing zoning permits, and mapping out land use logistics.
  • Collaborate with Real Estate attorneys on researching, filing, and processing entitlement applications before local jurisdictions.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for meetings in business plans and meetings at executive levels.
  • Performing due diligence investigation; preparation and processing of land use amendment and zoning applications; and representation of projects at all levels of governmental review.
  • Reviewing architectural and civil engineering designs and guide production planning activities ranging from developing and revising production schedules, forecasting trends and customer demand, and managing logistics.


This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, in the office 3 days a week, in either Tysons, VA or Washington, D.C.


Compensation

$80,000 to $100,000 per year annual salary.

This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
