Land Development Manager

WBW Development is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Land Development Project Manager. The right candidates will work with the development team to coordinate pre-construction and construction activities including entitlements, design, permitting coordination, proforma analysis, engineering and construction oversight, creating and maintaining relationships with builders, as well as reporting and project delivery.

Role Overview:

• Create, review, and maintain all due diligence property documents and reports to collaborate with the Land Acquisition team on potential development opportunities.
• Assist with due diligence during the land acquisition process.
• Ensure the completion of all due diligence work before the expiration of the contingency period.
• Manage and coordinate resources to meet all entitlement needs for land acquisitions.
• Monitor development phases and entitlement processes post-closing.
• Participate in the design process.
• Work with the engineering department during plat and construction plan submittals.
• Assist in moving projects through municipalities and counties.
• Anticipate and address issues to keep projects moving.
• Develop business relationships with municipalities, builders, and utility contractors.
• Build, maintain, update, and analyze development budgets and schedules.
• Manage the land/lot purchase contract process with the assistance of our internal corporate counsel.
• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve our sellers and customers, enhancing the goodwill and profit of the company.
• Travel weekly to identify project status, progress, and risk management, and track status in our project management software.
  
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Four years of related experience and/or training preferably in Texas
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Four-year college or university degree in related field
