With a strong commitment to expanding their US operations nationwide over the next five years, they are seeking a motivated and skilled Land Acquisition Manager to join their team and contribute to this mission.
Position Overview
The Land Acquisition Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing multi-pronged land acquisition strategies for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, primarily in the PJM, ISONE, NYISO, MISO, and ERCOT markets. This role involves managing external land agents and legal team members to advance the company's project pipeline. You will collaborate with renowned partners in renewable energy development and work closely with internal development, EPC, and O&M teams.
Key Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition for utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or energy storage)
Proven experience managing internal/external land agents and legal teams
Experience within PJM, ISONE, NYISO, MISO, or ERCOT markets is preferred
Highly motivated self-starter
A solid track record of success in a development or sales capacity in the clean energy sector
Strong sales, networking, leadership, negotiation and time management skills
