Located in Dallas, Texas, and founded in 1981, the Skorburg Company is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated, detail-oriented individual to help support the Land Acquisition Department and assist in researching and organizing market studies for the acquisition team to make informed investment decisions.
To join our team, this individual’s objectives include, but are not limited, collaborating with the Land Acquisition team to provide market studies in multiple real estate markets, conducting detailed market analysis with a strong qualitative component to describe market conditions and relay investment recommendations to the Acquisition Team. In this role, the Research Associate In Training will gain broad exposure to different real estate markets, and work directly with the acquisitions team which will deepen their real estate investment acumen.
For this role, the Skorburg Company is currently seeking a highly-skilled, motivated, detail-oriented, tenacious and able individual who wants to align themselves with a leading development company. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree with experience with a leasing agent, property management group, communications, or strategic marketing background.
Responsibilities assigned to this position include:
· Maintain up-to-date market information in an organized and accessible format to best assist the land acquisition team.
· Create research maps that show current and future utilities, roads, and school boundaries
· Prepare detailed analysis of Sub Markets by compiling information of multiple neighborhoods for the evaluation of the Acquisition Team to analyze
· Conducting property research from the company database and the internet
· Conducting market studies by talking with cities, homebuilding companies, engineers, city planning and zoning departments, etc.
· Communicating weekly with cities to receive agendas for Council and P&Z Meetings
· Communicating all pertinent information to development associates and management
