Laboratory Technician
One of our Automotive clients is looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician in Fairlawn, OH
Position Objective
Conduct various testing of raw materials and rubber compounds.
Provide technical support to customers, production and commercial organization.
Specific Responsibilities/Duties
Learn to operate all laboratory testing equipment per written procedure
Understand and follow test specifications
Perform rubber product mixing and testing per specifications
Carefully review all test data for accuracy
Record results in web-based data system
Enter and react to Statistical Process Control data
Calibrate equipment per schedules and record results
Write work orders to maintain equipment
Assist in defining work instruction or process changes
Maintain an appropriate relationship with customers and suppliers, representing
Client in a positive manner.
Desired Education / Training / Skills
Rubber mixing and milling experience
Rubber compound testing experience
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
Good communication skills in both oral and written
Required Education / Training / Skills / Experience
High School or 2-year associate degree in a technical field (bachelor’s degree is a plus)
Skills Required
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
