Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- With guidance from supervision, assists technical personnel in molecular laboratory operations and routine laboratory task handling in a plant pathology diagnostics lab.
- Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.
- Supporting the molecular pipeline for the diagnostic operations team including: DNA/RNA extractions, setting up and running Real-time and End-point PCR, Gel.
- Electrophoresis, data analysis, maintaining records using Excel, Smartsheet (LIMS), internal data tracking systems, lab consumable restocking, weekly/monthly lab cleaning, washing dishes, equipment verifications and calibrations.
